About Us

We're highly experienced specialists in the design and construction of Mountain Bike Trails and Velosolutions Pump Tracks. We design and build world class bike tracks and plan, design and build all types of off-road tracks in a range of environments.

 

We take on all sizes of construction projects from working with volunteer MTB trail advocacy teams in our local woods, to being the principal contractor on major builds, or constructing tracks in local green spaces. Our fully qualified operators and track builders expertly take each project from clearance and levelling, to shaping, surfacing and landscaping.

The Role

We are seeking a trail builder to enhance our strong team. Our ideal candidate will be a passionate mountain biker with a keen eye for detail and a good work ethic. Employees will be expected to operate appropriate machinery as well as carry out physically demanding manual tasks in all weather conditions on remote and rural sites.

Location

Our head office is based in Bristol, with multiple trail-building crews operating across the UK. We are currently looking to expand our Scottish team and are particularly interested in candidates based in Scotland, ideally within the Central Belt. The role involves regular travel and working away from home Monday to Friday, as projects are delivered nationwide. Candidates must be willing and able to travel as required, with all expenses covered.

  • Interpreting designs

Attributes:

Essential:​

  • Based in Scotland

  • Full UK (Category B) Driving License

  • Passion for biking or skateboarding

  • Good problem solving skills

  • Health and safety conscious

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Ability to work outdoors for long periods in all weather conditions

  • A keen eye for trail shaping and finishing

Desirable Competencies:

  • Construction Experience

  • CSCS Card

  • CPCS/NPORS Tickets

  • CS30/CS31 chainsaw tickets
